In a future where Earth is left barren by environmental collapse, humanity is on the brink of extinction and the governing body, E.D.G.E., is keeping a grave secret from its underground citizens. When a race of aliens return to Earth, leaving destruction in their wake, a protocol of responses are to be carried out by the best and brightest. Unfortunately, everything falls to Steve Forrester, a wrongly accused demoted soldier, his partner Lily Goldstein and scientist John Santilli to fill in and attempt to save the human race.
